The plain and simple yet hard truth.
You may have heard that Sarah Palin is planing on running for President in 2012. When asked if this was true she said "it's crazy to close a door before you know what's even open in front of you."I pray that before she begins her campaign her eyes will be opened and she will see the one door that is open and the room she needs to walk into before her family completely brakes apart. That door would be her quieting her job as governor and following what is says so plainly in Titus 2 verses 4-5 "that they might teach the younger woman to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed"

President Obama- So Sad.
So at 9:00 when I passed by her door. She called out to me;
Hanni: "E, who is elected?"
Me: "Obama was."
Hanni: "Oh no! that is so sad!"
Love you sweetie,

"Trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding"(Proverbs 3:5 )
"Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation.
When his breath departs, he returns to the earth;
on that very day his plans perish." (psalm 146:4 )

Day book page two
For Today… ummmm I cant remember:P
Outside my Window…Raining. Big surprise there!
I am thinking… Nathan is painting the celling of the room I am in and it smells really gross.
I am thankful for…The days we don't have to paint:)
From the kitchen…Dinner, bread and I am making brownies pretty soon.
I am wearing…The 'backwards" skirt pink t shirt with pink hears all of over it.
I am reading…Villette by Charlotte Bronte and some blog posts.
I am hoping…That Chuck Baldwin will be our next president.
I am creating…A paper on Hector and courage, and a blog post which I cant seem to get the ending right.
I am hearing… Some ( happy) screaming from the Little's. Mom chopping carrots in the kitchen, and Luke playing piano.
Around the house…Its pretty tidy right now because the Little's have been playing outside all day despite the down pour of rain.
One of my favorite things…People:)
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week…Finish my paper. And that annoying post that I have been working on for three weeks get some laundry down. And I am hoping to see fireproof this week.

Holy Ambition.
In her latest post entitled Holy Ambition, Katie asked a profound and normally ignored question.
I decided it called for a sequel.
To answer Katie's first question. Yes, I do have an "holy ambition". For as long as I can remember I have wanted to marry, have a family of my own and to set an example of biblical femininity by striving to live the life of the Proverbs 31 woman. This may sound small to you, but I know that this is what God is calling me to do. Everything that he has given me in my life points to this. And it is not the point of your holy ambition to be something huge it is simply what God wants you to do with your life. In his video, John Piper asks if we are willing to sacrifice for our ambition. Yes I am willing. I will not be going to to college so I can better prepare to be a wife and mother. I am willing to take all the mocking and scoffing that comes with me telling people of my choice.
This obviously is, and should not be every one's holy ambition. God has a unique and different ambition planed out for everyone. Which brings me to another one of Katie's questions. Yes, I believe that God has an holy ambition for every Christan. An holy ambition is really just another way of saying what you want to do with your life. God knows all of his plans for you and how he needs you to live your life. Ask him and he will show you. "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7)
God will keep his promise. God also works in his own perfect time. He may not be ready to show you your holy ambition just yet. But rest assured that he has one for you. It is just not the time in his plan to have you know.
